We are very happy to see the Canada-Nova Scotia Nature Agreement announced on Tuesday, including $28.5 million in funding from the federal government so Nova Scotia can protect 82,500 hectares by no later than 2026. We recently wrote a joint letter with friends at Nature Canada to the Premier and Minister of Environment encouraging them to use this opportunity to make some meaningful changes for biodiversity conservation in our province.
