Nature Nova Scotia wrote in to the Public Bills Committee regarding Bills 1 and 6 in March 2025. We remain deeply concerned about the province’s rushed efforts to open treaty lands to fracking, uranium, and lithium mining efforts as well as with the Premier’s strategic villainization of experts and the media and divisive rhetoric in communicating around these issues.
