In early 2023, M.Ed. candidate Cheryl Crocker approached us with the idea of creating a forest-themed lesson plan for middle-school students that was specific to Nova Scotia’s unique ecosystems. It can be hard to find teaching aids that are relevant to our local area, so we were instantly excited by the idea!
