Let’s Get Up Early, for Pride and Birds!
Join us for a morning Pride birding walk at Shubie Park in Dartmouth on Thursday, July 24th from 7:30–8:30 AM. All ages are welcome.

This will be a slow-paced walk. While we can’t guarantee bird sightings, forest birding is often more about listening than seeing, so come prepared to be patient and tune in to the sounds around you.

We’ll share some queer birding facts and look and listen for local birds like osprey, mallard ducks, and chickadees. With some luck, we might also spot turtles, fish, and other wildlife. If time allows, your host will share some basic plant ID tips and nature facts to help you enjoy the trail even more.

Meeting point: Fairbanks Centre, Shubie Park

Please bring water and binoculars if you have them. Feel free to bring any birding questions—your host will also have some LGBTQ+ designed and themed stickers to take home.
